The City
With its sports bars, backpacker venues, pubs, clubs
and cinemas, the City caters to a fairly broad crowd.
You’ll find various theme nights on during
the week, with pubs and clubs busy all weekend. |

The Valley & New Farm
The Valley, 1 kilometre north of the City, has the
lion’s share of Brisbane’s nightclubs,
bars and live music venues. With Chinatown on its
border, the Valley is a diverse, festive and sometimes
fashion conscious area with lots of good restaurants. |

West End
Across the river from the
City, bohemian West End has
a village feel. Quirky cafes,
restaurants, pool halls,
cocktail bars and some interesting
old pubs flank Boundary Street,
which runs down its centre. |

Paddington
Just west of the City, Paddington caters to a party
crowd. You’ll find most venues on Caxton Street
and along Given Terrace including pubs, bars, restaurants
and cafes. Brisbane’s new Rugby/Football Super
Stadium lives here so expect this area to be hopping
whenever a big game is on! |
